I was getting 'isdone.dll' error during installation of every, no matter how many times I tried, the error always shut down the installer at some point. I eventually found out that my antivirus was quarantining files, even though I had disabled protection in the application settings. I discovered that my AV suite was still active and had to stop the process in Windows services ( services.msc). After disabling the antivirus program permanently, I've installed over 50 repacks without a single issue. This may not be the only cause of the 'isdone.dll' error, but when encountering issues be sure that your antivirus program isn't interfering, preferably by disabling it completely.

Always download from 'trusted' uploaders on torrent indexes (such as ). Could you not just ‘whitelist’ the file in your AV so it ignores it? That’s how I got around something similar - install and wait until finished; head to AV quarantine area, select file and depending on how your AV does it, either add the file or the file path to your ‘excluded from scan’ list. If you’re lucky, you should only then need to tell your AV to restore the file to its original location from the quarantine area and everything will work; failing that, uninstall/reinstall the game to exactly the same directory (needs to match the file path in the excluded list) and this time, your AV should ignore it when installing and running. Could you not just ‘whitelist’ the file in your AV so it ignores it? If I recall correctly, the program (I was using one of the most popular AV products, but prefer not to mention it to avoid giving misinformation) showed no files in the quarantine and I wasn't able to find any traces of blocked or deleted content. I also meant to say, this is the safer way of doing it - you’re potentially leaving yourself open and vulnerable by disabling your AV altogether; exclude only the problem file and it should then prevent anything else slipping through the backdoor. I've decided to stop using antivirus programs completely because of the massive of amount issues they can cause, ranging from games not launching (Resident Evil 4 HD on Bitdefender, Gone Home with Avira) to constant need to 'exclude' cracks and mods. UBlock Origin is likely more powerful than any traditional antivirus program, considering how much malware is distributed via web browsing.
